She operates a local drink (Apekteshie) business, which, unfortunately, does not generate sufficient income to support all nine children. Additionally, she faces the burden of a lung disease, as confirmed by medical reports, which limits her ability to engage in strenuous work.

Despite the financial constraints, Martin’s exceptional academic potential shines through. Madam Patricia Authur is determined to provide her son with the best education possible, recognizing his unique talents and aspirations.

When she learned about the Stand Together Educational Foundation and Scholarships, Madam Patricia Authur decided to apply for her son’s scholarship.
